Affordable Wedding Ministers / Officiants
in Orange County, Los Angeles, San Diego and Riverside Counties, California

E-mail: WeddingsbyTerri@cox.net, Terri's cell 949-697-2246

We are non-denominational ordained ministers / Officiants performing wedding ceremonies according to YOUR WISHES.   Your wedding should be HAPPY CELEBRATION with lots of laughing, hugging, kissing and champagne!  We are here to marry you and to record the marriage license at the County Recorders Office for you.

My name is Terri Linzmeier.  Mark and I have been married since 1985 and have four tall, gorgeous children who are all "in the bizness" with us working as officiants, photographers and videographers.  We offer a discount package which includes your officiant, photographer, and videographer for just $995 (up to 90 minutes of photography and videography coverage).  You can deduct $100 from the package price if you prefer to do your own photo editing.  And of course, extra time can be added for photography or videography coverage.

OFFICIANT PRICING
Orange County, Los Angeles, San Diego and Riverside Counties $275
plus a $50 travel fee if we have to travel over an hour to your ceremony
$25 discount for Active Military, or $50 discount for Monday-Thursday weddings

Click on www.TeRRRi.com or www.MoNNNNica.com for wedding photography and to view sample wedding albums (we have each photographed over 100 weddings).  Click HERE

Go to www.JohNNN.com for videography.

If you have more than 20 or 30 guests attending your wedding, I will provide a PA System (at no extra charge), which I'll use with a wireless microphone during your ceremony.  You are  welcome to plug your iPod into the PA System to play some love songs and a "bridal march" if you're not having a live musician.

If you'd like us to take care of the music before, during, and after your ceremony (with your choice of music), we'll put together a playlist on our iPod for an extra $50.

Click
HERE for a list of local live musicians and other services that we recommend for wedding ceremonies.

Call me on my cell at 949-697-2246, or drop me an e-mail at: WeddingsbyTerri@cox.net  (I live on my e-mail).

I have a Wedding Ceremony Template (it's a Word document) that helps with planning your ceremony that I can e-mail to you, or click HERE to open a copy.  You can customize your ceremony however you like.  The only "rule" is that everything that is said at your wedding should make you happy, and speak to your heart.  We love to meet with you and sit down and go over your ceremony at our office (it's our boat) in the Dana Point Marina, but if you're crazy busy and can't schedule the time, we can have a SKYPE videocam face-to-face meeting on the computer, or go over your ceremony on a conference call.

Based on the hundreds of weddings we've officiated, click HERE to see a hodgepodge list of what works and what doesn't work at wedding ceremonies!

WANT TO GET MARRIED BUT DON'T KNOW WHERE?

Click HERE to see photos of some of the local beaches and parks in Laguna Beach and Dana Point.  Every beach has both good and bad points - some are affected by the tides, others are too crowded with tourists, some beaches don't face the sunset, some beaches don't "allow" weddings, and the prettiest beaches may have too many stairs for your grandma.

MARRIAGE LICENSE INFORMATION

Note: The different County Clerk's offices are open and closed at odd times, so check their office hours before you go.  There is an office in San Diego that's open on Saturday mornings, and I know the downtown Riverside office is now closed on Fridays.  Also, the counties have a weird new rule where you must either go to their office in person, or have the request form (for a certified copy of your marriage license) notarized - so if they offer it, pre-order your certified copy at the time you pick up your marriage license.

Click for marriage license information in Orange County and to fill out the application on-line.  The two of you will must go in person to the County Clerk's office and take your drivers licenses.  You can apply for your license at the Old County Courthouse on the corner of Broadway and Civic Center Drive in Santa Ana (it's the big old red building pictured at right), or you can go to the Laguna Hills Civic Center on El Toro Road in Laguna Hills.  If you go to the Old County Courthouse, be sure to take an extra 15 minutes to go upstairs and see the historical courtroom, jury room, recorders room, and judges chambers that are on display and don't forget to feed the meter -  I got a $47 parking ticket there.  If you want to talk to a human at the County Clerk's Marriage License Office, call 714-834-2500 between 8am 4:30pm, press 6 for an operator, and ask to talk to a live person in Marriage Licenses.  Click HERE to see locations and hours.

Click for marriage licenses in Los Angeles CountyThe Los Angeles County Clerk's department is really slow.  They need 6-8 weeks to "record" your marriage license and send you a certified copy, so if you need a Certified Copy of your marriage license quickly, you should drive down to Santa Ana in Orange County and get your license there - Orange County takes just two weeks to send your copy.  Also, Los Angeles charges about $25 more for a license than the other counties, and (frosting on your cake) they're extremely rude to you at the Norwalk office with long wait times.

If you pick up a "confidential marriage license", you MUST get married in the county where you obtained the license.  However, if you absolutely can NOT get to your local clerk's office on a weekday, you can make an appointment to pick up your marriage license in San Diego at the Kearney Mesa office on a Saturday, between 9am-1pm (call first - county cutbacks may stopped Saturday hours).

Mark and Terri Linzmeier We've been married 25 years

I often repeat this at weddings, but my favorite thing about being married is having my own person.  He's mine (and I'm his), and we'll always be there for each other, come what may.  That, for me, is what marriage is about.

CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR ENGAGEMENT!
